Payment: within two business days after measuring.

DIAMETER:
The diameter of a veneer log is determined by the interior cylinder diameter of the short log under the bark.
Minimum Ø of plywood cylinder at the thin end – 14 cm
Maximum diameter of veneer log Ø – 70 cm
LENGTHS:
Nominal length is 2.70 m (full log length from 2.75 m to 3.10 m)
Quality assessment and measurement of veneer logs
The measuring and quality assessment of timber is performed after delivery to our factory at Meistaru street 1, Kuldīga. The quality assessment of the measurements is performed by SIA VMF Latvia.
The measurement of the diameter and length shall be carried out by using an automatic measuring and sorting line in accordance with LVS 82:2003.
Documents required for the handover of the logs
- For natural persons – proof of identity or power of attorney, if acting as an authorised person
- Copy of the felling permit or equivalent document that certifies the identity and origin of timber
- Copies of the documents certifying the transfer of ownership rights if the timber is not harvested at the property of the seller
- Waybill for each cargo
