Quieter, safer, and more aesthetic spaces with Sonablock

Sonablock by Stiga RM is a Latvian-made wood wool acoustic panel solution designed to absorb sound, reduce noise, and create an aesthetic wall or ceiling finish in public, commercial, and residential spaces.

A Practical and Aesthetic Acoustic Solution

Acoustic panels are a practical and aesthetic solution for spaces where noise needs to be reduced, sound quality improved, and a more comfortable environment created.

Wood wool acoustic panels combine the natural appearance of wood, sound absorption properties, and technical durability, making them suitable for both wall and ceiling finishes across a wide range of projects.

What Are Acoustic WWCB Panels?

Acoustic panels are finishing materials that help absorb sound and reduce echo in a room. They are used in spaces where clearer speech, lower background noise, and more pleasant room acoustics are important.

Wood wool acoustic panels are suitable for both functional and visual interior solutions, as they improve acoustic comfort while also complementing the overall design of the space.

Acoustic panels for walls

Acoustic Panels for Walls

Acoustic panels for walls are suitable for spaces where echo needs to be reduced and acoustic comfort improved, while maintaining an aesthetic wall finish. Sonablock panels can be used in offices, corridors, classrooms, restaurants, public buildings, and other spaces where wall surfaces can become a practical acoustic solution. A variety of colour and texture options allows the panels to be adapted to both modern and natural-style interiors.

Why is Sonablock more than just acoustic panels?

The advantage of Sonablock is not only the finished product, but the entire production ecosystem. Wood wool strand size

The wood wool strand size affects the panel’s visual texture and the overall mood of the interior. A finer strand size creates a more even and calmer surface, while a more pronounced strand size gives the panel a more natural and textured appearance, allowing you to choose the most suitable solution for both minimalist interiors and spaces where the character of a natural material should stand out.

Colours and Design

Sonablock acoustic panels are available in a variety of colour options, allowing them to be adapted to a specific interior style and project requirements. Natural tones help create a warm and calm environment, while painted panels make it possible to create more expressive wall or ceiling accents, either as a neutral background finish or as a visible design element. Upon request, the panels can be painted in any RAL or NCS colour.

Important information about colour and natural wood properties

Our panels are made from natural wood, so slight differences in colour, texture, and fibre pattern may occur between individual panels. These variations are a natural characteristic of the material and should not be considered a defect.

The panels are available both unpainted (Unpainted) and painted in Natural Color (RAL 1015). Please note that with painted panels, the natural wood structure may still create slight variations in tone.

To achieve the most even visual result possible, we recommend mixing the panels during installation.

A space before and after acoustic panels

Before acoustic panels are installed, spaces often have noticeable echo, high background noise, and poorer speech intelligibility. After Sonablock panels are installed, the sound in the room becomes calmer, conversations are easier to understand, and the environment becomes more comfortable for everyday use.

BEFORE

A space with echo

Noticeable echo
High background noise
Fatigue and reduced concentration
Poor speech intelligibility

AFTER

A space with Sonablock

Reduced noise and echo
Better concentration
Clearer speech and communication
A calmer and more comfortable environment

Fire Safety

Safety is one of our priorities. Sonablock wood wool acoustic boards are manufactured in accordance with high fire safety standards (EN 13501-1), offering two performance levels.

B-s1, d0

A standard solution with high fire resistance, suitable for most public and private spaces.

A2-s1, d0

Non-combustible material developed for projects with particularly high fire safety requirements, such as escape routes, stairwells, and large public assembly spaces.

Fire safety classification is especially important in public and commercial spaces, such as schools, offices, sports halls, and cultural buildings. Clearly stated information helps architects and construction professionals assess the product’s suitability for a specific project.

Bring the Calm of the Forest Into Your Space

In modern spaces, noise often becomes a cause of everyday fatigue, reduced concentration, and lower comfort. Sonablock acoustic panels help create a quieter and more balanced environment by combining natural wood texture with precisely developed sound absorption. The result is a space where it is easier to work, learn, communicate, and relax.

A Solution for Architects and Designers

For architects, designers, and construction professionals, Sonablock acoustic panels provide a technically clear and visually customisable solution for wall and ceiling finishes. The product’s technical data, fire safety information, installation options, and design variations help select the most suitable solution for a specific project.
